  • A nutrition consultation includes personalized advice on nutrition-related questions and needs. The aim is to analyze the client's eating habits and lifestyle in order to provide suitable recommendations for optimizing their nutrition. This can be relevant, for example, for health issues, to improve performance in sports, and as a preventive measure.

  • Some of the health topics we discuss during the program include: eliminating toxins, the importance of the microbiome, self-care and mindfulness, sleep, exercise, stress relief, and increasing overall well-being.

  • Everyone has triggers that cause them to make poor decisions about food and nutrition. Alcohol, social situations, and sugar are just a few examples. I work with you to identify your triggers and then provide proven strategies to overcome them. I am with you every step of the way to support you and hold you accountable.

  • Eating and nutrition should be fun, and I would never take that away from someone. My plan is sustainable because it doesn't involve any sanctions and you will never go hungry. Instead of putting you on a diet, I'll give you tools to learn how to be mindful of your body again and to rediscover your feelings of hunger and satiety.

  • No, of course not! Although I specialize in plant-based nutrition, you don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to work with me. I will not pressure you to go plant-based.

  • No, I believe in balance rather than sacrifice. Instead of focusing on what to eliminate from your diet, the focus is on what healthy foods to add and how to optimize your diet. I may encourage you to limit certain foods, but you don't have to give them up completely. Balance, variety and moderation are the key factors in a healthy diet.

  • The duration of a nutrition consultation depends on the individual's goals and wishes. The first appointment usually takes about 60 minutes and is used to take the patient's medical history and analyze the current nutritional situation. The following appointments usually take about 45 minutes each and are used to support the implementation of the recommendations and to assess progress. The duration of the counseling can be determined variably according to your needs and individual circumstances and is between 6 weeks and 3 or 6 months. If necessary, the nutrition counseling can also be extended beyond 6 months.

  • Once you have completed your program, you can extend it if needed or schedule quarterly check-ins as one-on-one counseling sessions. In addition, year-round support via email is also available.
